Fix the app name or uninstall Vocaldi

If the Vocaldi update left one app under the old LessBetween name, use the first path to finish the rename. Use the second path only when you want to remove Vocaldi and its data.

Replace LessBetween with Vocaldi

For the Vocaldi name update

Use this when the app says Vocaldi after updating, but Finder still shows a single app named LessBetween. Sparkle updated the app in place and macOS kept its old filename.

Download the latest Vocaldi DMG
  1. Download the latest Vocaldi DMG using the button above.
  2. Quit Vocaldi after the download finishes.
  3. Open Finder → Applications.
  4. Move the LessBetween app to the Bin. This removes only the app bundle, not your Vocaldi data.
  5. Open the downloaded DMG and drag Vocaldi into Applications.
  6. Open Vocaldi. Your existing settings and content should already be there.

Completely uninstall Vocaldi

Removes Vocaldi

Use Vocaldi’s built-in uninstaller when you want to remove the app and choose which local data to delete.

  1. Open Vocaldi from the menu bar.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Open Advanced.
  4. Under Uninstall, click “Uninstall…”.
  5. Review the available choices:
    • “Deactivate license on this Mac”Shown only when Vocaldi finds a paid license on this Mac. Leave it enabled to free this Mac’s activation before uninstalling.
    • “Delete settings and local data”Removes preferences, onboarding state, history, generated audio copies, logs, and caches. This is enabled by default.
    • “Delete downloaded models”Removes Vocaldi’s downloaded speech models. This is disabled by default.
  6. Click “Uninstall”. Vocaldi will move the app to the Bin and quit.
